Part of the Larger Church

One of the amazing things about being connected to St. Paul's Lewiston is that we never walk alone.  We are part of a larger body, one that longs to reach out into thr world to make a difference.  We are part of the Niagara Deanery, the Diocese of Western New York, Provence II of The Episcopal Church, and part of the Anglican Communion.

Not only do we as a parish reach out to help our fellow brothers and sisters, but we can join into a larger body of Christ to have an even greater impact.

Niagara Deanery

Is a collection of the 8 Episcopal Churches in Niagara County.  We work together to support each others' ministries and have come together in the mustard seed project to support Community Missions.

The Diocese of Western New York

The Diocese is a collection of the Episcopal Churches in the 8 counties of Western New York. We work together to support each other, to learn and grow, to be God's people in this part of the world.  You can learn more about the Diocese HERE.

The Episcopal Church

Welcomes all who worship Jesus Christ, in 109 dioceses and three regional areas in 16 nations.  The Episcopal Church has members in the United States, as well as in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Haiti, Honduras, Micronesia, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Venezuela, and the Virgin Islands.  The Episcopal Church is a member province of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

There is a long traditional of democracy within the Episcopal Church and operates with a bi-cameral legislature, and an elected Presiding Bishop.  We celebrate our unity in Christ while honoring our differences, always putting the work of love before uniformity of opinion.

All are welcome to find a spiritual home in the Episcopal Church.
